A Chunk of Chile with a Dash of South America

Living and travelling in South America from our base in Chile since 1997. I have personally experienced the extremes here, living in a shed without a bathroom in a poor dangerous part of town to the other extreme of having an elegant dinner with the President at the palace. This blog is about things that I have done or that have caught my attention here as well as travel information that may be useful.

Angelmo Restaurants and Crafts

We have another page ready after our trip down south, this time to do with a little place to the west of Puerto Montt called Angelmó.
Angelmó can be divided into two main areas. The first part is as you enter which is a long street crammed packed with many stalls selling traditional Chilean handicraft and products. The second part is where the fishing boats come in to unload their catch of the day. Here you will find a fish market selling all types of weird and wonderful things and also many restaurants offering their wares. If you like fish and other seafood, then this is the place to have it.

You will find lots of photos about Angelmó too!
