A Chunk of Chile with a Dash of South America

Living and travelling in South America from our base in Chile since 1997. I have personally experienced the extremes here, living in a shed without a bathroom in a poor dangerous part of town to the other extreme of having an elegant dinner with the President at the palace. This blog is about things that I have done or that have caught my attention here as well as travel information that may be useful.

Puerto Iguazu Argentina

One place that you just HAVE TO visit is the Iguazú Falls that border Argentina and Brazil. They are truly amazing and should be on the top of any To Do List of South America.
Since there are two sides of the fall (the Paraguayan border isn't too far away either) one alternative is stay on the Argentinian side at Puerto Iguazú.

If you would like more information about this town including where to stay (interesting note about the showers) and how to get to the falls from there, just visit our newly created page about...
