Plaza Arturo Prat
Pichilemu - Chile
This rather large plaza (or square in English) is a little different from most in that it is not a flat ground. It is in fact on the side of a slope so it is in two main levels. The top part that allows you to look towards the beach just a block or so away (check out the distance by the photo below), whereas the bottom part is more decorative with the statue of Arturo Prat whose name is given to the square.
A view of the upper part of the square.

The Plaque above says (in Spanish):
Plaza Arturo Prat Chacon
Remodelación con motivo del primer centenario de la comuna
Ilustre Municipalidad de Pichilemu
Pichilemu, Diciembre 1991
Arturo Prat Chacon Square
Reconstructed for the first centenary of the area
The Illustrious city council of Pichilemu
Pichilemu, December 1991
One of the railings in the upper part of the plaza
The statue of Arturo Prat whose name is given to the square
A view of the beach (called Playa de las Terrazas) from the square
There is accommodation just a block up the hill called: Hotel Chile España
